Pepe [José] Lacruz Vela is a Spanish Architect graduate from IE University. He was recognized with the title of Outstanding Student in the Bachelor in Architecture, having registered the highest average grade over the course of study, and awarded Best Final Project of the Bachelor in Architecture. He holds a Masters in Advanced Architectural Projects from the Technical University of Madrid, ETSAM.
After completing his studies, he founded pepelacruzarch, an architecture studio focused on the design and research of projects in architecture and territory. 

Before establishing his studio, Pepe has worked for Bjarke Ingels Group (New York), Spacegroup (Oslo), Nodo17 Group (Madrid), Ingenhoven Architects (Dusseldorf), and NL Architects (Amsterdam).

Along with his professional career, he has been invited as a guest critique at the Bartlett School of Architecture in London, and IE University in Segovia.
